Sometimes, I have so much stuff rolling around in my head and I just need to get it out. I am in awe at all the other bloggers in cyberspace that sometimes I forget, my blog is just that, my Blog! I don't have to have a picture, tutorial, or something earth shattering in order to make a post. I just have to have something to say. I am keeping this blog so that I may look back someday and think, hey that was a good day or this thing that happened really sucked.
Today did not suck! It was a pretty good day, I am planning Pinterest Party (for March) and I am getting pretty excited about that. I read a few other blogs that have had experience with Pinterest parties and I have gotten some ideas.
I also had the chance to look back over a book I started last March; I re-read what I had written, and it was pretty darn good. So good (so says me) that I am going to try and pick it back up and write some more of it. Happy Crafting.. Marissa :)

Happy 2013
Well, 2012 is in the rear view and I have to say, I look back with pride :). Did I get everything accomplish that I put on my goal list for 2012~ well no, of course not; but, I did get a lot accomplished. I love the fact that I have a "goal" notebook and that throughout 2012 I tried to keep up with some of those goals.
So, here is 2012 in review: *things on my list
2. Go back to college (6/4/12)
4. Create more (work in progress!)
6. New Car (4/17/12)- new to me Honda Pilot
8. Purge Shoes (1/8)
9. Purge clothes (3/15)
10. Purge jewelry (1/8)
11. read a book (4/2)- it had been a while since a read a non-school book
12. watch a classic movie (An Affair to Remember 2/12)
13. Take a sewing class (1/6)
17. Clean out storage boxes (11/10)
20. Make a banner (2/27)- Merritt's birthday banner
32. Frame a picture (1/8)
41. Unsubscribe to emails I don't want to receive (2/29)
43. Make Valentine Mixed Media Art (1/9)
45. Apply for teaching jobs (7/7)

Other things I did- not on my list but still important ~made all A's in all 5 of the classes I have taken this far ~Got a new computer (mine was 7 years old) ~Booked a fabulous trip for 2013 ~spent time with my son, nieces and nephew ~Went to festival of lights ~Cheered Merritt on in football, baseball and basketball ~started a craft business with my friend- we make wreaths and other crafts ~used my cricut more that I ever have before ~saw some friends I hadn't seen in a while ~made some new friends ~learned to use Windows Movie maker and made a movie! ~learned a bunch about ed-tech ~have a renewed passion for wanting to teach ~ready to see what 2013 brings! Have a Fabulous day friends... Marissa :)
